This Savage Art

I’ve bitched and moaned about the Tribeca Film Festival with its price hike ($18 a seat!), the exclusion of the New York, New York Narrative category and screenings located as far uptown as 112th Street but here I am giving into the pressure and gearing up to see a handful of films as the festival gets underway this Wednesday. The upside? Well, hopefully I’ll get to see some good films but besides that I’m using my Am Ex points to buy the tickets so its not really out of pocket.

This is what I’ll be checking out for ’07: Gardener of Eden, Shorts Programs: Mood Enhancer & Express Stops Only, Amexicano, The King of Kong, The Air I Breathe.
