John Cassavetes...what can you say? I love John Cassavetes. His insight and curiosity about life is something that always strikes me whenever I see a Cassavetes' film--and the wonderful Gena Rowlands--doesn't let a moment slide by. I just saw Opening Night again and I am still blown away by how risky and surprising the script was--and her performance is genius. Inspiring, provocative and contemplative--truly meaningful film-making.
